Haryana Police Constable Eligibility Criteria:
To become a Haryana police constable in 2024, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria-
Education Qualification:
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board of Education/Institution with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation.
- No extra weightage will be given to the candidate for higher education.

Haryana Police Constable Selection Process
According to the Haryana Police Service rules, Candidates must undergo the given selection process to qualify for the test:
(a)Qualifying Tests:
Haryana Staff Selection Commission shall invite adequate candidates based on merit obtained by them in the Common Eligibility Test (CET), for the Physical Measurement Test and then for the Physical Screening Test both shall be qualifying only. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission may do so in such several batches, as it deems necessary, to shortlist qualified candidates equal to four times the number of advertised posts of each category for the Knowledge Test.
(b)Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Candidates must undergo a physical measurement test per the standards prescribed in the Haryana Police Service Rules.

(c) Physical Screening Test (PST):
Candidates who qualify for the Physical Measurement Test are further required to attend the Physical Test Test (PST) to judge their physical fitness and endurance.

(d)Knowledge Test (94.5% weightage):
- All candidates are required to complete a ninety-four point five percent (94.5%) weighted knowledge test consisting of objective type, multiple choice questions. Each question will carry equal marks.
- A minimum of 50% marks in the Knowledge Test is required to be considered for selection against the General Branch post. In case of consideration against reserved category posts (whether vertical or horizontal) candidates will get a 10% rebate i.e. minimum cut-off for such candidates will be 40%.
- Candidates holding A, B, or C Level NCC Certificates will score 01, 02, and 03 respectively (for Constable).
Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024
- All questions are compulsory.
- The question paper will be in Hindi and English.
- The written test will be offline-based.
- The total number of questions will be 100 with a weightage of 0.945 marks per question. If a candidate fails to mark any of the five options for a question, 0.945 marks will be deducted for each question not attempted.
- A candidate is required to fill one of the five options given. An additional five minutes will be allowed to mark the fifth option if the candidate does not know the answer. The total time allowed for the paper will be (100+5) =105 minutes including five minutes.
