Bombay High Court Part-time Counsellor Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for a part-time consultant position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education Qualification:

  • The candidate should have completed an M.A. in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling from a recognized university.
  • Additional certification in counseling would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a counselor
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is preferred.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum age: 25 years
  • Maximum age: 45 years

Bombay High Court Part-time Counsellor Job Responsibility

  • This position will involve working with individuals, children, and couples who are currently in matrimonial disputes or any other disputes and pre-litigation matters in the Bombay High Court. The counselor will provide individual, couples, and family counseling and is also responsible for documentation of work.
  • Subject to the directions of the Hon’ble High Court or the directions of the Main Arbitration Centre, the counselor shall counsel in the Counseling Room at the Bombay High Court or anywhere else.

Bombay High Court Part-time Counsellor Job Duration

The appointment for the post will be purely on a contractual basis for 1 year which may be renewed in the following year considering the effective service of the consultant. The panel of counselors will be revamped from time to time. The consultant (part-time) will work 3 hours and call as and when the service is required.
